Exclusive Cairoli Limited Edition Design also includes Cairoli Box Sidi utilise the latest technology along with its experience with the Sidi Crossfire boot to create this top spec off road Boot Crossfire Boots are amongst the most Comfortable boot, whilst giving the highest level of performance Sidi Crossfire as worn by Stefan Everts and Antonio Cairoli to win their multiple Motocross World Championships Upper constructed with Full Grain Leather for superior quality Lorica® inserts on the front tongue and on the back joint for better flexibility and comfort. Every Crossfire inner is fully constructed with Lorica The Dual-Flex System allows for easy movement forward and backward but is extremely strong side to side giving the rider the best in ankle protection and long lasting comfort. The hinged, dual position, stitch-free upper is constructed from injection-moulded plastic. With the exclusive Dual Flex system and with the four floating, independent straps the Crossfire can provide each rider with a personal fit no matter his body shape or if he uses knee braces or not. The joints are both padded with closed-cell materials to avoid water and sweat absorption Crossfire boots have a Cambrelle® lining that, due to its particular polyimide structure, guarantees a rapid drying rate after the boot gets wet or sweaty. The Teflon treated mesh panels in the rear calf area of the boot also allows humidity to escape while the boot is in use Adjustable Boot Strap System at the calf to achieve personal preference and an improved fit, the Adjustable Calf System is Sidi’s exclusive, patented, adjustable calf system allows the rider to adjust the diameter of the Crossfire boot at the calf. This system, along with longer upper straps, allows the Crossfire boot to accommodate riders with larger calves Sidi’s exclusive Cam-Lock Buckle System is acknowledged as the finest system on the planet. The 4 strap, cam-lock buckle system incorporates a strap memory retention system. Adjust the straps once and they will be at the same position for every ride after that!. All the buckles, straps and retaining clips are replaceable Boot Leg is completely replaceable and is assembled entirely with screws and is stitch-free. The Thermoplastic front shin plate is anatomically shaped and replaceable and available in 5 colour ways - An exclusive-patented Sidi feature The Heel has 3 extended ribs are featured at the back of the boot to assist the rider in making up shifts with his heel when starting a race. The crossfire's heel is rigid, shock resistant, and anatomically shaped for maximum protection The Crossfire Metatarsus Protection system is a replaceable rigid nylon insert that has been added to protect the inside of the boot in case the riders foot slips off of the kick starter. This insert is also replaceable Anti-Heat shields are an undressed leather protection panel inserted at the height of most motorcycle heat shields to protect the leg from exhaust heat, wear and tear Sidi is the only manufacture to use a composite insole that is anatomically shaped to the rider. A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury Crossfire's are renown for have a narrow 'non-bulky' toe, making shifting and manoeuvrability easier. With plastic shift and brake lever guards on the top of each foot area The Sidi Crossfire SRS Boots have the “sole replacement system” sole which is the markets only sole fully replaceable via a standard screw driver and the SR quarter turn screws. This patented sole replacement system has the extra technical feature of being able to better distribute loads from the footpeg fully across the sole. While the SR sole has a stiffer feel than the TA sole (or other companies sewn on soles) it has the added benefit of presenting a smaller footprint than traditional sewn on soles thus offering less of a “target” during on track encounters or hidden stumps in the brush.
